As we celebrate the holidays with our loved ones, I wanted to thank all my clients and friends who have supported my journey in these past 10+ years. I’ve been enjoying my time with my family and friends for the Christmas holiday and for this upcoming New Year of 2011! Some big changes are coming up for me, my salon this year, and I ask again for your support in making the transition smooth. I will be renovating the salon a bit, as I have mentioned to many of you. A fresh new start, in looks, operation, and still keeping it very Austin.
Another big change is that my sister, Laura, will finally join the team! I am very excited to introduce her to those who haven’t met her yet. She is my big sis and is super talented. I know this because I always used to copy her while growing up. She is a natural artist, and is quick in learning. I know that us working together is going to be an awesome journey. I’ll be training her in all that I know, and maybe she’ll even be better than me!
We finally got our Yelp Sticker! I’ve been waiting for one for about 6 months now! P.S. If you are a Yelper, please show us your love! We really appreciate all the great support!

I wanted to grasp a new perspective of Jade. I’ve never met a model who is so humble, so down to earth, and just really cares about others who are in need.
The hairstyle I created for her was a reflection of what people may see and not see in this person, who is named Jade. The top half of her hair represents the outer appearance we like to show to the world. The bottom half of her hair reflects chaos, trials, and changes that Jade has gone through in her life, but yet still something beautiful that’s about to transform at any given moment.
Her eye make up was inspired a futuristic editorial concept.
Golds and Blacks. Smokey yet Glowing. I love this combo.
